Located in the picturesque Mid North Coast region of New South Wales, Spirit Lodge Equestrian Centre is a spelling and training centre. The team at Spirit Lodge have many years of experience training performance horses and ponies, as well as starting young horses.Our facilities, about 20km west of Port Macquarie are large enough to accommodate a variety of equestrian activities. We offer horse riding lessons for beginners, as well as for experienced riders. Our Pembrook equestrian centre is also suited for show and competition preparation for those riders looking to perfect their technique. The team at Spirit Lodge Equestrian Centre also provide coaching and clinics for dressage and eventing and we provide horse education clinics as well. Spirit Lodge Equestrian Centre also caters for agistment and spelling of horses, with lush paddocks and plentiful water supplies for the horses in our care. For young horses, owner Chris specialises in training and breaking. Our facilities are also suitable for yearling preparation and we have many years of horse handling experience. If your children are avid horse riders, have ponies or simply love being around horses, Spirit Lodge Equestrian Centre caters for children’s parties. Our pony birthday parties and fun club are extremely popular options for the equestrian lover in your home.In addition to our training services, our centre also conducts breeding. We have stallions at stud and can provide a foaling down service, where both your mare and her foal are closely monitored and cared for. Our quiet location is the ideal spot for your mare to foal. Our staff include:• Chris Wilkinson specialises in starting young horses, re-educating and training performance horses and currently has a young team of eventers which are proving to be serious contenders for the higher levels. His dressage team is also a young up and coming team with some very flash nice horses coming into their own in the recent months.• Natalie Roach is channeling her energies into ponies looking at the pony dressage realms after a long break from the competition circuit due to having a family and being a mum. Her passion is also in the breeding realms where foaling season takes precedence over all at that time of the year.
