Fairyland Pre-School

Barnsley Fairyland Preschool is an established and nurturing environment for three to six year olds who live in Barnsley, Edgeworth, Cameron Park, Glendale and other areas around Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.For more than 20 years we have built a reputation for our highly individualised preschool program that prepares each child, from the age of three, for the transition to school. To provide a smaller environment, Barnsley Fairyland Preschool offers 25 places per day, so that each 3-6 year old receives individual attention in a school readiness program that is unlike those offered by traditional Long Day Care Centres. We even offer care on public holidays, at no extra charge. Our program appeals to parents because of its scope and level of interest for their children. It helps young ones develop friendships but also encourages independence.Physical activity is important too. Our large outdoor play area allows for a number of simultaneous activities, such as ball games, sandplay, drama and visual arts, as well as quiet spaces for reading and relaxation.Barnsley Fairyland Preschool is an accredited childcare provider, which means the Child Care Benefit may be applicable to parents.Our staff is a great mix of experienced female and male professionals who are qualified in early childhood development and learning. They are committed to incorporating the cultural and special needs of every family.
