Alexander Brian

Brian is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Justice of the Peace. He has been in the industry for over 34 years. Brian advises on income tax, capital gains tax, GST and accounting and provides financial management advice to business's that lack expertise or staffing in that area. Brian generally spends over 60 hours a year attending formal training courses to provide clients with the best possible advice.Originally from a rural background, Brian worked both overseas and in Sydney for a large international accounting firm. Before moving to Taree in the early 1990's Brian worked for two other medium sized Sydney accounting practices and was Financial Controller of a Sydney based Import/Export group. During that time Brian worked with companies such as B & D Roller Doors, Faberge, Champion Spark Plugs and Welcome Pharmaceuticals.Brian's rural background and commercial experience enable him to relate to both rural and commercial small business people. Brian's main focus is corporate work and small business management. Brian utilises technology and specifically online accounting packages such as Xero and MYOB Account Right Live to help deliver real time financial management assistance and cost effective solutions to clients.Brian is a keen windsurfer and tennis player. He also enjoys surfing, kayaking, rowing and mountain biking.
